Up for sale now is my lovely Jensen #70. I don't like having to sell engines but I'm so busy that this and the #75 just don't see a lot of use and the extra money would be a real help for restoring the other 30-odd engines on this site, so it's time that these engines find a new home.
The good: This engine is in fantastic shape and runs like a dream. Everything has been polished and oiled and is guaranteed ready-to-run upon receipt. The heater tests good and the electrical cord is like new.
The bad: As seen in the photos, this engine is not in mint condition. There is some minor scratching and corrosion which gives it a played-with yet well taken care of patina, and the boiler won't polish up to a high shine, but maybe I'm just not trying hard enough. This engine is wired for 120V, so a converter is needed if it is to be operated outside of the US.
Overall, an excellent addition to the collection. A real powerhouse and it's electric to boot so with winter coming up, you can steam indoors without mum complaining of the smell. As a Jensen, this is a quality engine and spares are readily available but should not be needed as this #70 comes ready to run.
